Hello,
Here's a guide on how to set a custom number of audio channels using the MainConcept Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve.
A timeline should be created with the necessary number of audio channels before adding media files into the timeline, and Clip Attributes should be set for each media file in case it's necessary for the corresponding audio layout.

- In the Media, Cut or Edit tab, right-click on the input file(s) and select Clip Attributes.
- Open the Audio tab and choose the Adaptive format with the necessary number of audios.
- After setting the file(s), you can add file(s) to the timeline and proceed with the work.
- Once the work is done, in the Deliver tab, open the Audio tab and select All Timeline Tracks.
- Render the project.
