Yes, the 64-bit versions of the Decoder Packs work under Windows 7 64-bit as well.
Where can I use the MainConcept Decoder Packs?
Our decoders can be used in every application that supports the DirectShow filters architecture. Additionally, they can be used in our ShowCase player application.
What are the demo restrictions for the Decoder Packs when using ShowCase for evaluation?
The demo version adds a watermark to the video during playback in ShowCase. In addition, it limits audio to 30 seconds when a MainConcept audio decoder is used.
Why is there no more audio after 30 seconds for some files when evaluating your decoders in ShowCase?
ShowCase contains the demo versions of some MainConcept audio decoders. One restriction of the Decoder Packs demo version that audio is muted after 30 seconds.
Do your decoders also support AC-3 or E-AC-3 six channels audio?
Only as part of our Dolby Digital SDKs. Due to Dolby license restrictions, our Decoder Packs do not support AC-3 or E-AC-3. In these cases, will be muted for playback.
Do you have a decoder that can play back AVCHD files on a PC?
Yes, our H.264/AVC Pro Decoder Pack can play back AVCHD footage.
Is there a Decoder Pack for Panasonic P2 AVC Ultra or Sony XAVC file playback?
Yes, the Decoder Pack AVC/H.264 Broadcast enables playback of AVC 10-bit 4:2:2 content.

No, the Decoder Packs are a set of DirectShow filters and can only be used under Windows.
