Hello,
We are planning to add some generic H.264 / AAC in MP4 8-bit and 10-bit presets to the Codec Plugin in one of the next releases. These new presets will make use of the MainConcept AVC/H.264 Software Encoder. This option will be similar to what we already offer for HEVC right now.
However, DaVinci Resolve Studio already offers H.264 GPU encoding for Intel Quick Sync Video and NVIDIA NVENC, so currently there is nothing planned for this codec on the plugin side.
But we are investigating GPU accelerated encoding options for HEVC/H.265. We are currently checking the possibility of adding Hybrid GPU accelerated HEVC encoding for NVIDIA RTX boards to our Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio.
