Resolved Issues in MainConcept Live Encoder V3.1
- [NDE-376]: Removed warning about missing CodeMeter signature when installing Live Encoder on Linux.
- [NDE-377]: Job templates can now be edited with some non-English characters as well, such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.
- [NDE-378]: Job templates are now also preserved when upgrading.•[NDE-380]: HEVC/H.265 TS streams encoded in adaptive intra-refresh mode are now correctly ingested and decoded using UDP and other protocols.
- [NDE-398/MCC-11074]: Fixed quality drops for low bitrate AVC/H.264 encodings when there are scene changes from still images to camera feed inputs.
- [NDE-402]: Some USB capture devices require a USB 3.0 connection. Due to power failures, these devices can switch back to USB 2.0, which has insufficient bandwidth for proper performance and results in stuttering video and muted audio. There is now an error message in the log to inform the user when this will happen while encoding.
- [NDE-403]: When encoding a stream using CEA-708 closed captions, the sentences in the output are not mixed and messed up anymore.
- [NDE-407/MCC-11130]: Fixed quality drops for low bitrate AVC/H.264 encodings at scene changes when using B-frames.
- [NDE-408]: When using AJA Kona SDI capture cards, you need AJA 15.5.1 SDK’s drivers as a minimum version.
