Resolve doesn't know what to do with filenames

Using the Mainconcept MP4 HEVC 8-bit Main 4k option in Resolve Studio...
Resolve doesn't seem to see the files created as 'mp4', If I click 'browse', Resolve doesn't show any other files present in that location... despite there being multiple other files present. 
Can be a little confusing as to why Resolve is handling Mainconcept files differently. Overwriting/replacing files is also a bit more inconvenient now.

Please let me confirm, you also do not see files that were not created by the MainConcept Codec Plugin? Or are only the MainConcept created files not present in the location when accessing them from DaVinci Resolve? But they are generally present on the hard-drive, right?

Do you see HEVC files in DaVinci Resolve at all?

One general comment on this, the MainConcept Codec Plugin does not add any import options to DaVinci Resolve Studio. It only adds additional render presets to the software. Import is exclusively handled by Blackmagic Design.

Thanks for the fast reply.
I see no files whatsoever, just folders. Yes, the files do exist on the hard drive.
I was going to overwrite a file I had created using the main concept plugin, and had to type the filename in manually to trigger the dialog asking if I wanted to replace the file.
In that location on the hard drive there are mp4 files created by both the default Resolve mp4 renderer and mainconcept.

Thank you for the additional information. We checked your issue and want to say that it's not related to the plugin, it's related to the logic of choosing a directory for file saving in DaVinci Resolve or even on the OS side at all. Clicking on "Browse" will show you the directories where you can choose the location and save the output file itself, it even says "Select Folder" in the File Destination window.

I have also attached 2 screenshots of the Browse window for both Windows and macOS. You can see that in macOS the files are present, but they are inactive and can't be selected to rewrite them. In Windows, the files aren't present and the only folders that are present, which says the difference in the logic of choosing locations to save the files in these operating systems.

It's okay that you don't see the files in the browse window, it works the same way in other applications e.g., if you'd like to save any file in your browser (chrome, edge, etc.), it opens a similar window to choose the location to save files and there will only be displayed folders and not files.

If you want to replace the file with a new one, it's required to match the same name and location to get the dialog, and it's normal. There's no way to do it differently.
