AV1 Encoding Option?

Any thoughts on adding your AV1 encoder as an option in the Plug In?

Right now, AV1 rendering is not explicitly on the roadmap, but if there is a user-demand we definitely reconsider, especially if the encoder is not natively included in DaVinci Resolve Studio yet.

Are there specific resolutions you are aiming at (e.g. 720p, 1080p, 4K)?

What audio and file format are you looking for? AAC and MP4?

I'm looking at AV1 as an option for UHD HDR HFR web delivery of content (well apple needs to catch up) instead of 264. I guess it should be AAC for audio in an MP4 wrapper. There is no AV1 encoder in Resolve (but a decoder was recently added).
