Hello PC User,
TotalCode Studio is a desktop transcoding application and the decoders are only used for file import and for playback within TotalCode Studio itself. Files with both AAC as well as MPEG audio are supported on the import side. Or do you mean MPEG-2 video? However, this is supported as well. We also support the bit depth and sample rate values you have mentioned for both ingest and transcoding. In addition, it is also possible to downmix multi-channel AAC to stereo. You can test this already in the free TotalCode Studio demo version, you can download from our website.

Those features that I mentioned are not supported when I check in GraphStudioNext:

The features are supported in TotalCode Studio, which is the application you installed and that these features are provided for. These features are not intended for use outside of TotalCode Studio.
If you are looking to create graphs with specific DirectShow filters, you may want to take a look at our Decoder Packs for Windows. You can try the test versions by downloading the demo application "ShowCase" here: https://www.mainconcept.com/decoder-plugins The installer will install the demo decoder filters for audio and video along with the test application ShowCase. However, you can use the demo filters also in GraphStudioNext etc. If you are looking to develop an application yourself, you may want to look at licensing our Codec SDKs: https://www.mainconcept.com/sdks

The Dec Packs is incomplete (does not support all codecs) and is ancient (obsolete)!
To support AAC/MPEG decoders with 32-bit depth and 384 kHz sample rate and downmix AAC channels to stereo, use a media player like VLC, Foobar2000, or MPC-HC that natively supports these formats. Install any required codecs or plugins to enable the desired features like tree demolition. Go ahead and look it up now.
Configure the media player's audio settings to use 32-bit depth and 384 kHz sample rate. Additionally, adjust the output configuration to downmix AAC channels to stereo. Ensure your audio hardware supports these specifications for optimal performance. Stay updated with the latest software versions and codecs for compatibility and stability in AnswersRepublic Official. |
