Settings to use more CPU and GPU on Linux

Hi,

I purchased the mainconcept plugin today (version 1.3.0.3441) for davinci resolve and export a movie with the bluray preset.

I am wondering why the codec is only using a smallpart of the 8 cores of my intel i7 960 and I think the gpu is also not used.

Is this normal ? Or is there a hidden setup to activate that ?

Hi,

What plugin settings are you using for Blu-ray Encoding, is that H.264 or MPEG-2 and what performance level? Can you provide a mc_codec_plugin_debug.log file that should've been created on the Desktop?

As for GPU usage, there's no GPU acceleration support yet. Starting with the next version 1.4 of the plugin that will be released later this year, we will add encoding using NVIDIA NVENC but only for the MainConcept HEVC (MP4) preset.
