Nvidia hevc Hybrid error.

Hi there.

I downloaded a demo of your software and was trying to use the talked about Hybrid feature but it is not working for me.

I can use the NVENC encoder only in FULL mode.

I am testing the software on my home computer first, not on the good hardware I intend to use, but i have the same GPU I was thinking of using to begin with: a RTX 3060 12Gb (drivers 527.56 ).

The error I get is:

Oh I ran into this issue as well. Turns out the Hybrid encoder in TotalCode Studio only supports the 20 Series. If you have a 30 or 40 series they have not added support yet. I picked up the FFMPeg Hybrid Plug In as it does support my 3090 Ti.

Also Driven Mode should work in it too (it does for me) and using vmaf I have found driven gives a better quality than hybrid.

Ahh that makes sense but then again it does not....

Why is TotalCode Studio not updated as it seems MainConcept has added support for 30 and 40 series in its encoder....

I downloaded the demo version of the ffmpeg plugin but this is a completely different animal and so much more complicated, I am not sure people here are willing to go from modern gui to green crt cli 50+ character commands

I will try it but it will be a hard sell to get others to use it let alone buy it

Yes, unfortunately, I have to confirm this. The latest TotalCode Studio only supports the 20 Series, but does not support 30 / 40 series yet. Moreover, we don't plan to add it in the near future. Sorry, that I don't have a better news for you.
