hi there,
I recently purchased the resolve plugin with the hope of exporting a file for broadcast. I am having some issues with metadata and audio bit depth errors. Firstly im getting an "audio bit depth is not supported" error when trying to export 24bit (which is strange as all audio has to be 24bit for delivery?) There are 16 audio tracks, Stereo LR on 1&2, M&E on 3&4, 5.1 on 5-10 and 5.1 M&E on 11-16, rendering all tracks as discreet tracks, one track per channel
If i reduce the audio bit depth to 16 bit the error goes away (but makes the file unacceptable for delivery?)
Secondly I am getting this error "Failed to open encoder: [MXF File Format] Could not parse AS-11 metadata. [Default exporter] Could not parse AS-11 metadata" I am just using the metadata template file for now, as i have not found a metadata editor to be able to fill in the information, is this error being caused by the metadata file being incomplete?
is there a free / cheap metadata editor that i can use to fill in the programme information? or is the error being caused by something else?
thanks,
Chris
