Hi there,
It appears that the MainConcept HEVC encoder disregards the cropping parameters. It appears to merely reduce a video to the required resolution (black bars remain), in contrast to the built-in standard DaVinci X.265 encoder.
As an example, the resolution of the source video file is 1920 x 1080. With the black bars removed, the final resolution is 1790 x 1080.
I get a properly cropped 1790 x 1080 video file with an aspect ratio of 5:3 from the built-in standard X.265 encoder.
I'm getting a horizontally compressed screen with black bars at 1792 x 1080 thanks to the MainConcept HEVC encoder; the original aspect ratio was 16:9, and the screen resolution is 1672 x 1080 with the black bars removed.
What am I doing wrong and how do I stop it?
