Resolved Issues in Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio 1.6:
Known Issues in Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio 1.6:
- GPU-accelerated HEVC/H.265 encoding modes (Hybrid and Driven) are now compatible with the most recent version of the NVIDIA drivers and DaVinciResolve Studio 19.
Resolved Issues in Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio 1.6:
- [MCBMD-81/TSDK-1413] An invalid descriptor in the AS-11 formats has been corrected and now complies with the SMPTE 330 standard. This did not cause a problem in practice, but was flagged by some verification tools as an error.
Known Issues in Codec Plugin for DaVinci Resolve Studio 1.6:
- Users can only load a separate AS-11 UK DPP XML metadata file, but not edit the fields inside DaVinci Resolve Studio. However, the XML file can be manually edited using a text editor.
- Due to the plug-in interface of Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio, the Resolution and Frame rate options should be handled with care. Some resolutions and / or frame rates might not be compliant with the specific preset you have selected. It might not be valid by the official specs from Sony, Panasonic or DPP although you can choose a different parameter here. Some frame rates are not available in the corresponding drop-down menu, e.g. 25, 50, 60 fps, etc. However, before you start with a project in Blackmagic DaVinciResolve Studio, you can specify the timeline’s frame rate to one of these values (File > Project Settings > Timeline frame rate). If you then render the project later and this frame rate is supported by the preset, it is also used for exporting the timeline.
