Updated Live Encoder v4.2 is officially released!

Please note that we have released an update to the MainConcept Live Encoder. The major improvements and new features in version 4.2 are:

• MPEG-DASH output now supports multi-audio tracks.
  
• Dolby Digital (AC-3) and Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3) support for decoding on ingest for HTTP, RTSP, SRT, UDP and Zixi outputs.
  
• Web UI now includes controls for hitless switching of the license server.
  
• New frame rate conversion algorithm allows more accurate insertion of ads.
  
• MPEG-H encoder has been updated to v04.02 with functionality to set RAP on demand for more accurate ad insertion.
  
• Updated LCEVC libraries introducing enhanced performance for LCEVC and VVC.
  
• Installer can detect and install missing Avahi libraries for AWS Linux.
  
• REST API requests can be used for multiple encoders managed by one web service.
